Kate O'Hern Lyons

Catherine "Kate" Lyons retired from Merrill Lynch as a Managing Director in Fixed Income Trading, where she had worked for nearly 15 years, spending the majority of her time on the taxable, investment grade syndicate desk. Prior to Merrill Lynch, Ms. Lyons worked at Bankers Trust Company (NYC) in Structured Finance, where she prepared the analytic models used in the financing structures for large assets such as satellites, aircraft and railcars.

Kate graduated from the University of Pennsylvania’s College of Arts and Sciences, in 1986.  As a Penn student, Ms. Lyons was a member of the Women's Cross Country and Track & Field teams. In 2008, she was inducted into Penn's Athletic Hall of Fame and remains very active in the Penn XC/T&F alumni community.

Ms. Lyons has been actively involved as a volunteer at Penn since her graduation and is currently on Penn’s Board of Trustees.  In addition to her role as a Trustee, Kate is a member of Penn’s Athletics Board of Advisors and the Penn Dental Medicine Board.

Ms. Lyons received an MBA from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business in 1992 and currently serves on the school's Board of Visitors.  While a student at Fuqua, Kate was a volunteer assistant coach of the Duke University Women’s Track & Field team, after having competed in the 1992 U.S. Olympic Trials, in the Women’s 1500m track event.

Kate and her husband, Bob, live in Connecticut and have 3 daughters.  Kate is currently an assistant cross country and track coach at her youngest daughter’s school.

Megan Sheetz

Megan graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1992. She moved to New York City after graduation, enrolled at Brooklyn Law School, and worked as an associate in the corporate law department at O’Melveny & Myers, LLP. She left O’Melveny to take the position of Associate Director of Career Services at Brooklyn Law School, where she worked until 2012, at which time she took time off to raise her three young children.

Megan recently completed a nine year term as a trustee at the Packer Collegiate Institute, the school her children attend in New York City. She served as co-chair of the board from 2020-2023 and was co-chair of the development committee for 6 years, leading a multi-million dollar capital campaign for a new campus building. Over the course of the nine year term, she sat on the hiring committee for the new head of school, was a member of the endowment campaign committee, as well as both the diversity, equity and inclusion committee and the compensation committee.

Megan currently sits on the board of the School of Social Policy and Practice at the University of Pennsylvania. She is also a member of the New York local advisory board for Jumpstart, a national education non-profit helping to get young children ready for kindergarten. She is a member of the board of trustees of the YMCA Camp Becket Chimney Corners Camp and is a member of the advisory board for the Sheetz Center for Entrepreneurial Excellence at Penn State Altoona. In addition, Megan is a member of the board of the Kathleen and Gerald Sheetz Foundation as well as a founding member of the Sheetz Family Council. Megan and her husband are also members of the Vanderbilt University Parents Council.

Megan and her husband live in downtown Manhattan. She has a son and daughter attending Vanderbilt University and a daughter who is a junior in high school. Megan and her family enjoy adventures, traveling and all things outdoors and they always try to prioritize their time together as a family.
